how i write my poems

hello hello my lovely paid subscribers!!!!

i don’t feel as if i’ve been doing enough for you guys and that will now change.

i have been doing a challenge this month where i write (and put out) a poem every single day on my instagram. it’s been really interesting and anxiety inducing but the most unexpected work always comes out of this sort of i said i would do this so i have to even if i feel i have nothing to say. there is nothing better than being surprised by your own words on the page. we’re nearing the end of the month now and i can report that i have been writing much more than normal while also getting experimental with style and subject matter. i thought i would drop in and share some of my favorite poems i’ve written this month and what prompted them — my initial inspiration or feeling i wanted to capture.
